What is saved
If you acknowledge the privacy notice, local storage saves s2-privacy-v1 with your essential-only choice and an expiry date, for up to 180 days. It stays in your browser and is not a cross-site identifier. Language comes from the page address: /fr, /nl or the English root. An old s2-locale cookie from an earlier version may remain until you clear it; public page language no longer relies on it.
What is not saved
We do not load advertising pixels, analytics scripts or embedded third-party videos. The public assistant does not keep a persistent chat history in local storage. Hosting and security providers may process necessary technical request information; this is not audience analytics.
Your choices
Use Cookie preferences in the footer to view the notice again. You can also clear or block storage in your browser; the public pages remain accessible. Essential preference storage does not require an optional tracking opt-in. If optional services are introduced later, they must remain inactive until the relevant consent is given.
